Girl Meets World, watched entirely by tweens, teens, and deeply nostalgic individuals in their late 20s and early 30s (*raises hand gleefully*) will have a couple of very special visitors when it returns on May 11.
First, we have Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), the greatest teacher in television history — and he’s even bringing his house (or at least his famous backyard). Cory Matthews, you’re a great teacher — but there is only one Feeny.
Eric Matthews (Will Friedle), Cory’s brother/the original show’s most perfect, best character, is back, too. And he’s bringing callbacks galore.
Which is a reference to this glorious moment.
Friedle gave us a preview of Mr. Squirrels on Twitter during filming:

And that’s only his first visit — he’ll clearly be back as evidenced by more on-set tweets!
Three guesses where I am this week? Thanks @SabrinaAnnLynn @peytonmeyer9! #somuchfun! pic.twitter.com/wM80s6nEQF

This is an embarrassment of Plays With Squirrels riches. Hope he and the missus are doing well.
Of course Eric and Feeny (Fe-he-heeny!) aren’t the only original Boy Meets World stars to make an appearance. This season will also see the return of Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn), Angela (Trina McGee) and Shawn’s dad’s ghost (Blake Clark).
Ummmm. This isn't a weird selfie is it @TheAnthonyQuinn? #FunFriday pic.twitter.com/owDSsiutin

Only one reaction is even feasible:
