'I'm Married To A...': Love Conquers All... Even Alien Abduction

If there's anything to be learned from spending an entire Saturday watching hours of romantic comedies, it's that you can't help who you fall in love with (be it the biting rival who put you out of business or your ex-stepbrother). VH1's new series, I'm Married To A..., explores the complexities of atypical relationships through the eyes of those living them.
This season we'll meet a polyamorous couple, who ensure their TV audience that there's simply more to love in the world these days, a cross-dresser, and at least one half of a couple that believes it was abducted by aliens. With a May-December romance that parents just don't understand, the quest for acceptance from friends, family members, and the world at large is a central focus, but shedding light on relationships that break the cookie-cutter ideal of a husband, wife, 2.5 kids, and a white picket fence that pervades so much of pop culture serves to introduce viewers to a brave and inspiring group of people who'll do anything for love.
