The Scoop: 9 Things You Never Knew About 'Hit The Floor' Star Kimberly Elise
We're thrilled to have Kimberly Elise join the VH1 family as original Devil Girl turned hard-working mom, Sloane, on Hit The Floor. Sloane proved to be a supportive momma even though she'd hoped her daughter, Ahsha, would chose a more conventional career. And she shocked us by letting Coach Davenport in on a secret that is sure to rock his world.
Kimberly probably looks familiar to you because she's been all over your television and movie screens since the '90s (even though she looks as if she was born then!). Not to mention that she's been Denzel Washington's co-star on three separate occasions: John Q (2002), The Manchurian Candidate (2004), and The Great Debaters (2007). We can't wait to see more from Sloane this season on Hit The Floor, but in the meantime, we wanted to learn as much as we could about the woman who brings Sloane's character to life.
From her first job in Hollywood to her hidden talents, find out the nine things you never knew about Kimberly Elise!
