On Monday’s episode of Hit The Floor, German does what any boyfriend who is afraid of losing his girlfriend to a superstar athlete might do: throw his money away in effort to distract her with diamonds.
But women typically enjoy receiving jewelry from a loved one, right? German’s gesture does not go without critical analysis, as Ahsha is wondering why on Earth he’d waste $5,000 in grad school money on a silly little bracelet. (Again, she’s not as fashion conscious as Jelena or Olivia.) Will this gift mend any existing cracks in their relationship, or prove they’re moving further apart than ever before?
