Watch Lauryn Hill Sing An Acoustic Version Of "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" With Her 7 Year-Old Daughter

Singer forced to cancel performance due to travel issues.

Lauryn Hill failed to appear at a recent show in Lagos, Nigeria for reasons far beyond the former Fugee's control. Hill and her band were set to headline "May Day Live," along with some of Nigeria's top acts, but unfortunately the award-winning artist never made it to Lagos due to travel difficulties. Her fans may have not gotten the chance to see her live; but they did end up receiving a special performance wrapped in an apology.

Ms. Hill can be seen in the clip apologizing to fans for her cancelation, before breaking out into an acoustic version of her 1998 hit "Doo Wop (That Thing)" — with daughter Sarah and members of her band. The performance does one of the dopest female rap tracks of the last 25 years, full justice.
