La La Anthony Says Women Have All The Power, Gives Relationship Advice On 'Good Morning America'
In addition to expanding her acting career and sharing a home here on VH1, La La Anthony is celebrating the release of her brand-new book, The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness. Oh, and her husband, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, recently scored 62 points in a single game. Yep, this family is just that much more successful than you are.
To promote her latest venture, La La appeared on Good Morning America Tuesday to chat about said tome of romantic advice with host Lara Spencer. "Women know we have all the power at the end of the day," La La explained. "But it's about knowing how to use that power and really creating a happy life for yourself, for your household, for your mate. That's what it's about." La La cites her own life experiences--both good and bad--as inspiration for the book, and is preaching the importance of being yourself in a relationship. If doing so will help us get one-third of her amazing wardrobe and/or celebrity contact list, we're in.
It seems like only yesterday we watched as La La unveiled the front cover of her first book. Dice, Melo, Po and Kiyan must be so proud!

The Love Playbook is in stores now, and as if it wasn't enough that the book celebrates women, it's also empowering them financially because a portion of the proceeds from sales in New York will be donated to Saving Our Daughters. "The book proceeds will help support our national partnership for young girls who live at Covenant House, an organization who serves homeless youth in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America," Saving Our Daughters' executive director Curtis Benjamin tells us. If you're in New York on Tuesday, January 28, join La La for a book signing at Barnes & Noble TriBeca. The fun starts at 6 pm, and includes a special Q&A with her BFF Kelly Rowland.
