Case File: Stevie J + Joseline: Married Or Not?

Facts Of The Case:

In the summer of 2013, after the season finale of the widely successful season two of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Hip Hop Weekly magazine ran a cover story that shocked the world to it's core. "Stevie J & Joseline Married" the headline read, accompanied by a glowing photo of the scantily clad couple. All throughout that summer until the present day, the couple has been very public about their civil union, which they maintain was performed by a Justice of the Peace. However, the name of the official was never released.

The Evidence:

The following evidence supports the position that Stevie J + Joseline ARE married.

Exhibit A: Stevie J Gives Benzino Marriage Advice

Back in Season 1, Benzino was the one giving Stevie J advice on romance, loyalty, monogamy, and fixing his relationship with Mimi. Now the tables have turned as Stevie J gives Benzino advice about his relationship with Althea. When Benzino excitedly reveals that he is ready to be married to Althea, Stevie J suggests that he slows down and spend more time dating her before rushing into marriage. It appears that Stevie J's marriage to Joseline has turned him into a wise man.

Exhibit B: The Jordans Are One Big Happy Family

Back in August 2013 (soon after Stevie J and Joseline announced their marriage), Stevie J tweeted the picture above with the following caption.

The tweet and picture of the happy family sparked rumors of a possible Stevie J and Joseline reality spinoff series. In a radio interview from Summer 2013, Stevie J admitted that he is "definitely in discussions about a spin-off" and additionally, in the infamous cover story for Hip Hop Weekly, Stevie J said that he would certainly consider a formal wedding ceremony on camera.

Although the evidence above favors that Joseline and Stevie J are married, not everyone is convinced on the subject. Let's continue our investigation with the opposing side!

The following evidence supports the position that Stevie + Joseline’s marriage NEVER happened.

Exhibit A: Joseline Was Pictured Not Wearing Her Wedding Ring

In the photo above posted on Instagram just two months ago, Joseline is shown NOT wearing her wedding ring. Considering how flashy that diamond was, we were shocked to see a time when she was not wearing it – especially in a photo where the caption is "I luv this man with every inch I have".

What is just as surprising about this photo is how Joseline went in on Tammy for being engaged to Waka Flocka Flame with only matching tattoos and no diamond ring. Tammy was annoyed with Joseline throwing her shade and decided to call her out on it and express her feelings on the previous conversation. Seems very hypocritical for Joseline to be criticizing Tammy on not having a ring when perhaps Stevie J never even gave Joseline the one she wears on her finger.

Exhibit B: Stevie J Buys Mimi A BMW

As soon as Mimi began dating Nikko back in Season 2, Stevie J labeled him as a second-rate, knock-off Stevie J. Any thoughts of Stevie J's jealousy of Mimi's new relationship became clear when he bought Mimi a brand-new white BMW with no strings attached. Although he claimed that the car was for Mimi and Eva, it appeared to be a gesture in order to win Mimi back. Is it possible that Stevie J is still in love with Mimi?
