Behind The Scenes: Photos of Nick Carter & Lauren Kitt On Tour With Nick & Knight

As we've seen on I Heart Nick Carter, Nick Carter and Lauren Kitt are trying to adjust to what tour life means for them as a married couple. Last weekend, VH1 got the opportunity to see what the newlyweds life is really like behind the scenes when Nick performed with his duo, Nick & Knight with N.K.O.T.B.'s Jordan Knight at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.

Nick's pre-show routine:

"Right now I'm sick so I have to warm up, extra hard. I just do vocalizations and exercises that last about 30 minutes. Just about that. I stretch a little - that's about it."

Lauren's routine while on tour:

"I wake up, try and find a gym, workout, take care of the dogs. Anything that Nick needs personally - grocery shopping, getting meds. Hang out on the bus, do some work - whatever needs to be done. And then we always try and have dinner together and then he'll go and do the shows. Sometimes we'll go to after parties - or he'll have an after party and I'll go."

Nick's special requests for the dressing room:

"Not really anything crazy. After a certain amount of years...it just becomes kinda old. We like certain water. I leave that up to Lauren. It's more about the bus because you're living on the bus."

Lauren having to dealing with crazed or mean fans:

"This tour, everyone's been really, really nice. I think it's probably because of [I Heart Nick Carter.] It's only like 10% of the fans that are A-holes. Girls will come over and express how much they love me and how much they like the show and how they're not all like that."

Nick having his wife on tour [Bandmate Jordan Knight's wife is not on tour]

"It's not really weird for me [to have Lauren here.] We're best friends. Having her around is just normal. I'd say Lauren and my relationship is not normal. Even in respect to the other guys in the [Backstreet Boys], Lauren and I don't like being apart from one another. We actually spend every waking moment together. We just don't get tired of one another."
