Did 'Pop-up Video' Shade Ray J Back In The Day?

We all remember that before Ray J was watching Princess fall into pools on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood he was making us all bump and grind to his hit song "Sexy Can I" also featuring a young Yung Berg. VH1 gave Ray's classic tune the Pop-up Video treatment a few years back and we are wondering - did they, for real, shade him?

The video starts saying that Ray is known for being Brandy's brother:

But then they really tried it, saying that the reality star is better known for making a sex tap with Kim Kardashian
