Because the best part of Love & Hip Hop is the moms.

NEW YORK, NY (March 31, 2015) – VH1’s hit franchise “Love & Hip Hop” is heading to the motherhood with the series premiere of "Moms & Hip Hop." Premiering on Wednesday, April 1 at 8PM, a familiar group of R&B and hip hop mommies who are out to protect their kin are ready to deliver the barbs, slaps, and ish.

The series will follow the mothers of rappers and singers, including Jim Jones' mother, Nancy "Mama" Jones; Lil Scrappy's moms, Deborah "Momma Dee" Bryant; Omarion's ma Leslie "Miss Leslie" Burrell; Nikki Mudarris' mother Marcelle "Michelle" Mudarris; Rasheeda Frost's mom Shirlene; and Mendeecees and Samantha's mothers Judy and Kim, respectively.

After taking over the Right Coast, the Dirty South, and the West Coast, tensions are high for the moms of these rappers and singers and video vixens to find their own spot in the world of glitz and Instagram. "Moms & Hip Hop" is executive produced by Damian Bellino for Dafuq Productions and Shirea L. Carroll, Alesa Andrew, and Elizabeth Black for FOH Entertainment. "Moms & Hip Hop" is 100% totally a joke.
