RIP Ellen Albertini Dow, the Rapping Old Lady from 'The Wedding Singer'

She truly was a rapper's delight of an actress.

Sad news. The meatball shilling, "Rapper's Delight"-flowing, piano-instructing Rosie from The Wedding Singer has passed away at 101 years old. The delightful little lady stole the movie out from under Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and also appeared as the homophobic grandma in Wedding Crashers. She was also in Sister Act and every single TV show you think of when you hear the words "'90s sitcom," including Sister, Sister, Family Matters, and Seinfeld. Born in 1913, she was primarily a theater actress until she started appearing on television and in film in her 70s.

Rest in peace, Ellen, with a hip hop, hippie to the hippie, the hip, hip hop.
