Beyonce Helped 'Pitch Perfect 2' Star Ester Dean Get Her Dating Life Together

In addition to being a flawless performer and fashion icon, Queen B is a skilled relationship counselor. Who knew?

If you're embarrassed by your compulsive Tinder swiping, or avoid telling people you met your significant other on Match.com like the plague, stop. There's no reason to be ashamed! Plus, Queen Bey has your back. Pitch Perfect 2's Ester Dean told us some dating advice her friend Beyoncé recently gave her. And Bey's go-to tactic may surprise you:

[Beyoncé] just sat down with me and told me how to get a man and what I should do. I told her all my man goals. She had me figure out what I wanted in a boyfriend. It's so crazy, 'cause everything I told her I wanted, that's what my boyfriend is. She would be a great relationship counselor. She told me to go on Match.com, [she said] if you've been single for too long, get into the habit of speaking to the opposite sex. After so long, speaking to a man could be uncomfortable in a personal way. When speaking to people who might be interested in you, you tend to clam up if you haven't practiced.

Online dating suddenly sounds a little more appealing after a Beyoncé co-sign, doesn't it? Ester didn't meet her current man (who she's very private about) on Match.com, but says Bey's advice allowed her to get comfortable opening up. "She's in everything I do. She's very supportive," she said. "She's so cute, I love her." Now bite the bullet and restore your online dating profile! Yonce says so.

Despite their close friendship (Ester wrote Bey's "Countdown"), the actress-singer-songwriter-producer freaked out when she learned she'd be performing "Run the World (Girls)" in the upcoming sequel. Can you blame her?! "I was like, 'Oh no! I have to sing a Beyoncé song?!'" she said. "That's awesome but it's Beyoncé! I'm like, 'I'm never gonna add up!' I did my version: Ester's 'Who Run the World?'"

Obviously, she slayed (see below).
