What To Do If A Seagull Poos On Your Head: A PSA From Paramore

Summertime is finally here, and you know what that means: beach weather! But the seaside brings its own unique set of challenges. What happens if a someone yanks your swimsuit off during a particularly heated game of volleyball, for example? Or worse, what do you do when a seagull scores a direct hit on your head? So when Ellie Lee met up Paramore on the glorious Gulf Shore for Hangout Fest 2015, she hit the band up for some advice. Thankfully, Hayley Williams and Co. were happy to oblige, and together we created this helpful PSA.

With that taken care of, we got to the other important stuff—their music! After two and a half years of touring, the band are wrapping things up with their 2013 self-titled album. The disc is their biggest splash to date, earning the band four hit singles and their first Grammy for the radio-anthem "Ain't It Fun." Although they're sending Paramore off right with the intimate series of Writing The Future dates, they admit it's difficult to turn the page on their most remarkable chapter so far.

"It's hard to leave an album behind," Williams tells us. "This was a really important step for us as a band, and also as people living life together. It's a little sad to say goodbye to it, it's been such a good time. We are ready to start writing the new music, but I feel like we really needed to do the tour we're doing right now to seal the deal."
