Watching Taylor Swift and Alanis Morissette Sing "You Oughta Know" Will Give You Boatloads of Girl Power

Ladies, get your life.

Everyone's best friend Taylor Swift has yet to tap all of her famous connections to join her on her 1989 World Tour. The latest honoree was Alanis Morisette, who joined Tay on stage last night in Los Angeles' Staples Center. This pairing made all too much sense. Both are known to sing about bad breakups, and it was all the more fitting that they did a duet of "You Oughta Know."

I imagine all of Taylor's exes flashed before her eyes during, and Alanis was more or less there for emotional support. Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks was also a featured guest last night, and so was Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen ironically came out during "Style" wearing this questionable silver jumpsuit with skirt attached à la Miley Cyrus.

I thought that seeing Nicki Minaj live at Billboard Hot 100 was the most fun I had had all summer, but I'm starting to get FOMO. If Beyonce makes an appearance at one of these, I'll be pissed.
