UPDATE 9/11 12:00 pm: It's official. Hip hop artist Future will be performing at the show!

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 10, 2015) – Tubefilter, dick clark productions and VH1 announced today the musical performers as well as additional presenters for the 5th Annual Streamys Awards, which will be broadcast live from the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10:00 pm ET/delayed PT on VH1 and its digital platforms. The Streamy Awards, a multi-platform event honoring the best in YouTube, online video and the creators behind it will be hosted by Grace Helbig and Tyler Oakley.

Performers for the 5th Annual Streamy Awards include A Great Big World ft. Futuristic, OMI, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Hailee Steinfeld.

Natasha Bedingfield, superstar Ciara, Frankie Grande, Jenna Marbles, NeNe Leakes (Fashion Police, The Real Housewives of Atlanta), the winner of the “2016 Miss America Competition” and James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek, Adi Shankar's Bootleg Universe) have been added as presenters as well Miranda Sings, who will have a special appearance at the show. Additional presenters include Paula Abdul, Mel B. (America’s Got Talent), Phil DeFranco, Ricky Dillon, GloZell Green, Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries), Hannah Hart, Mamrie Hart, Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), Harley Morenstein, Ingrid Nilsen, Pauley Perrette (NCIS), Jillian Rose Reed (Awkward) and Smosh.

Ian Axel and Chad King make up the Grammy Award-winning duo A Great Big World. They made music history with their 4x platinum #1 global hit “Say Something” (with Christina Aguilera) and are back with a brand new single “Hold Each Other” feat. Futuristic. “Hold Each Other,” a timely and socially conscious track, is the lead single from A Great Big World’s eagerly awaited second album, arriving later this year. With this track, Axel and King explain, "We are hoping that we can inspire people (even just a little) to fearlessly speak their truth when it comes to who they are and who they love."

International pop star OMI is best known for his worldwide hit “Cheerleader.” After a clever reworking of the track by DJ Felix Jaehn, the song was infused with a tropical house sound and went on to become a global phenomenon. In the U.S., “Cheerleader” spent six weeks in the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and has been officially named Billboard’s #1 Song of the Summer for 2015. OMI’s debut album, Me 4 U, will be released on October 16.

Grammy and American Music Award-winning rapper Sir Mix-A-Lot parlayed a gonzo tribute to women with large buttocks into hip-hop immortality. Before he struck crossover gold, Sir Mix-A-Lot was one of rap’s great D.I.Y. success stories. Coming from a city — Seattle — with barely any hip-hop scene to speak of, Mix-A-Lot co-founded his own record label, promoted his music himself, produced all his own tracks, and pulled himself up by the proverbial American bootstraps. Even before “Baby Got Back,” Mix-A-Lot was a platinum-selling album artist with a strong following in the hip-hop community, known for bouncy, danceable, bass-heavy tracks indebted to old-school electro.

A true 21st century showstopper, actress Hailee Steinfeld first captured the hearts of viewers with her breakout turn as Mattie Ross in The Coen Brothers’ critically 2010 opus, True Grit. She went on to star in the 2013 sci-fi epic Ender’s Game as well as Romeo and Juliet, Three Days to Kill and Begin Again. In early 2015, Steinfeld starred in the box office hit Pitch Perfect 2 and signed with Republic Records. This summer, she released her debut single, “Love Myself,” to worldwide critical acclaim. Upon its release, “Love Myself” made a stunning debut at Top 40 radio where it became the #1 most added song at the format. In addition, the song entered the Top Ten on iTunes US Pop songs chart and reached #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart. This fall, Steinfeld will continue work on her forthcoming debut album and begin production in the lead role of the "Untitled Gracie Films Project" for STX.
