Jimmy Fallon's 'Empire' Parody Is All You Need to Survive Today

Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson are in it, too!

Empire fans, it's the night you've all been waiting for. The second season of Fox's wildly popular show airs tonight. We know you're ready for all the Cookie Lyon realness.

Jimmy Fallon is, too, which is why he did a little parody of Empire on The Tonight Show Tuesday night, aptly titled Jimpire. And it's literally all you need to survive this dull, lifeless Wednesday.

In the hilarious 10-minute clip, Jimmy searches for the next heir of The Tonight Show ...dressed head-to-toe as Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard)—purple scarf, white turtleneck, and all. Actual twins.

Jimmy screens many people for the coveted gig, including his band leader Questlove (who has a big secret), The Roots MC Tariq, and his moody AF show producer Andre. Sadly, none of them are up to par. (Poor Questlove! His Chris Christie jokes were on point!)

Terrence and Taraji P. Henson make life-giving cameos in the parody as well. Especially Taraji, who returns triumphantly as Cookie and kicks the shit out of Tonight Show narrator Steve Higgins...also dressed as Cookie.

Watch the video above. We promise you won't regret it.
