T.I. Gives Powerful Spoken Word Poem on Social Media Activism
Rapper speaks out against reliance on Twitter activism.
During Saturday's 2015 Triumph Awards, T.I. gave a powerful spoken word performance of "United We Stand" taking aim at Twitter activism. T.I. who is outspoken about injustices towards black youth, also addressed Black Lives Matter during his performance.
"If you think solely making them a trending topic is going to solve them/Then you are a part of the problem," T.I. adds.
