Chill Out Rita Ora-Here Are Some Better Picks For A "Lady Marmalade" Remake
UPDATE: Iggy admits she's not about that remake life.
In an interview with The Sun, Rita Ora admitted that she's interested in remaking the hit song, "Lady Marmalade," with some rather interesting personalities.
"I'm trying to round up the troops - I think it would be me, Miley [Cyrus], Charli XCX - she'd be fun - and Iggy [Azalea]," Ora said.
Excuse us while we all serve the hardest eyes we've ever given in life.
For all the youngins' out there, "Lady Marmalade" was first released in 1975 by the group, Labelle--where the iconic Patti Labelle sung lead. Years later in 2001, it was remade by Pink, Mya, Christina Aguilera and Lil Kim.
Both versions were very commercially successful and amazed all fans that heard them. However, I can't help but wonder--scratch that--I know for a fact, that if this remake is done with the ladies Rita mentioned, it's going the break the internet. Like, in a very bad way. I literally mean all hell is going to BREAK LOOSE.
Sure her picks are decent, but there are other ladies that I feel can do the song way more justice. Here are the talents I believe can create the best new "Lady Marmalade" remake possible. Are you feeling them?
