Watch Hayden Panettiere Open Up About Postpartum Depression Just Days Prior to Treatment Admission

It's been confirmed that Hayden Panettiere has sought out treatment for Postpartum depression, 10 months after giving birth to her daughter Kaya. What's chilling is that her Nashville character Juliette also suffered from PPD, and Hayden so openly discussed and hinted at her real-life battle just days ago.

On September 28, the 26-year-old spoke very candidly about relating to Juliette's problem on Live! with Kelly and Michael. "[It] was something that I can very much relate to," she said. "You don't realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience [PPD] on. It's something that needs to be talked about, women need to know that they're not alone. It's really painful and it's really scary."

Two weeks later, her rep confirmed with People that Hayden is voluntarily seeking help for her battle. We thank Hayden for being so open about her problem prior to getting treatment, in hopes of educating and comforting other women. We wish her the best and a healthy recovery.
