9 Pop Stars Who Lost Their Chill In Music Videos
-by James Dinh
Keeping your cool isn't always easy. It's even harder for celebrities when they have the never-ending paparazzo and the gruesome vortex of Twitter (THANKS, INTERNET). So it's only natural and almost healthy that they let out bursts of frustration every now and then to maintain their sanity.
Earlier this week America celebrated National Moment of Frustration Scream Day and VH1 is marking the momentous holiday with some of the craziest music videos freak-outs. We're talking some serious glass shattering, angry face, NSFW language scenes, courtesy of Rihanna, Eminem and many more. Take a deep breath in, count to 10 and get ready to scream out any of your frustrations with some of pop’s biggest heavyweights.

October 12 marks National Moment of Frustration Scream Day and VH1 is celebrating the momentous holiday with some of the craziest music videos freak-outs. We're talking some serious glass shattering, angry face, NSFW language scenes, courtesy of Rihanna, Eminem and many more. Take a deep breath in, count to 10 and get ready to scream out any of your frustrations with some of pop’s biggest heavyweights.
1. Rihanna – "We Found Love" featuring Calvin Harris
Rihanna wasn't afraid to show fans the frustrating dynamic of a toxic relationship in the video for 2011's "We Found Love," and it was frighteningly amazing. In the no holds barred clip, the singer poured us a huge glass of freak TF out while arguing with a Chris Brown 2.0 in the bathtub, on the road and after a smoke session. Please never let us bump into Rih on a bad day.
2. Taylor Swift – "Blank Space"
America's Sweetheart lost her chill in the satirical clip for "Blank Space," leaving fans with this scary image of a betrayed Taylor gone mad. Instead of being sly with her plot for revenge, Tay opted for an in your face crazy girlfriend reaction. Now can we talk about that poor vintage Shelby AC Cobra?
3. Eminem – "The Way I Am"
The Real Slim Shady isn't particularly known for keeping his cool, so you probably already saw this one coming. Em wasn't dealing with ish in the clip for "The Way I Am" during a label meeting. In fact, he's probably the most unapologetic bitch of all the folks on this list. Record executives, beware.
4. Beyoncé – "Ring The Alarm"
Back when Queen Bey's image was a little less, erm, flawless, the pop titan showed the world what it would be like if you cheated on her. It was in 2006, so the question remains as to whether or not, it was a forewarning to Jay Z, but it looks like he heard loud and clear. Cheat on her, and she’s going to see red.
5. No Doubt – "It's My Life"
Gwen Stefani took things to a whole new level when she went wild AF in the video for No Doubt’s “It’s My Life.” After killing all her bandmates, Gwen let it all out in the courtroom, and it was not a pretty scene. Note to self: This Hollaback Girl means business.
6. Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson – "Scream"
Talk about a fitting video. Michael and Janet Jackson took the title of their collabo to a literal level when they went berserk in the Mark Romanek-directed clip. But the big question I’m still wondering after 20 years is, “How can someone make angry look so good?” Maybe it was that $7 million dollar budget.
7. Madonna – “Die Another Day”
Madonna had her moment of frustration in 2002’s video for “Die Another Day.” Well, it was actually more like the entirety of the whole 4 and a half-minute clip as queen of pop fought her way through a torture chamber.
8. Katy Perry – “The One That Got Away”
Katy Perry also had her moment in “The One That Got Away” when she (understandably) went a bit nuts on her artist boyfriend and ruined his whole painting. Ruining art can potentially lead to losing the love of your life … forever. The feeling is real, folks.
9. Nicki Minaj – “Right Thru Me”
Sometimes these moments of frustration aren't a physical lash out but just a good ol’ one-sided screaming match. Just take a look at the introduction to Nicki Minaj’s 2010 “Right Thru Me,” where home girl pops off “Bad Girls Club” style on her lover. It was like the prelude to all the fighting that would take place between her and Mariah Carey on "American Idol."
