Halloween came early in Arizona. A 350-pound, 25-foot-tall inflatable jack-o-lantern broke loose from a sports complex display on Thursday and wreaked havoc on the city of Peoria. The runaway pumpkin made its way on to a busy intersection and rolled and bounced for another quarter-mile before finally coming to rest in a neighborhood park.
Luckily no one was injured during the pumpkin’s reign of terror, but 40 minutes to track down a 350-pound pumpkin is too great to make up.
