Which Artists From Love & Hip Hop' Still Have Music Cred?

They all can't be K.Michelle. Who still gets taken seriously in the music biz.

Doing a reality show like Love & Hip Hop can put your music out there but it also allows fans to question your legitimacy. Some stars like Stevie J have worked with the likes of Diddy, Snoop, and Mariah Carey while others like Ray J once had huge hits but that was then, this is now. Who still has the people out in the streets wanting to buy and listen to their music?

Check out our assessment of the four musicians we think still have music cred after reality TV and let us know if you agree.

Omarion

O is best known as the lead vocalist from B2K but the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star has carved out a distinct solo career that has won him accolades. His most recent single "Post To Be" features Chris Brown and Jhené Aiko proving that Omari is as relevant as ever. The song has become the singer's most successful solo song behind "Ice Box."

Collabs:
Chris Brown, Jhené Aiko, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Timbaland, Bow Wow

K.Michelle

K. has been the inspiration that many Love & Hip Hop newbies cite as their reason for joining the reality soap. The singer's sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart? debuted at number one on the Billboard R&B charts and crossed genres from rhythm & blues, hip hop, and even country. K. also premiered the K.Michelle: The Rebellious Musical on VH1 that strung many of her ballads together as an R&B opera, directed by Idris Elba.

Collabs:
Missy Elliot, R.Kelly, Guccia Mane, Trina, Bobby V, J. Cole

Jim Jones

The Love & Hip Hop OG is an original member of Dipset. His sophomore album Harlem: Diary of a Summer peaked at number five on the Billboard 200, making it his most successful album to date. Jimmy released his last studio album Capo in 2011 but has continued to drop sick music including his latest mixtape Miami Vampin this past May. (Maybe just to hit back at Yandy?)

Collabs:
Diddy, Wyclef Jean, Ashanti, Chink Santana, Trey Songz, Pitbull, Birdman, Rick Ross, Estelle

Kalenna

The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast member is best known as part of Diddy-Dirty Money but has an impressive songwriting career, most recently writing "Thug Cry" for Tinashe. Kalenna's solo music is R&B pop and her debut album Black Orchid is expected to drop in 2015.

Collabs:
Tinashe, Ciara, Ja Rule, Three 6 Mafia, Aretha Franklin, Christina Aguilera, Maino, The Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga
