The “Whip/Nae Nae” Dance Can Be Used As An Educational Tool, Here’s How

Give these kids three gold stars.

Silento’s “Whip/Nae Nae” dance is taking over the Internet, and one teacher decided to put it to good use. While visiting her son in school, mom Kelli Littlejohn recorded a video of the unique way the elementary school instructor helped him learn some new vocabulary words. The teacher and young scholars replace the original lyrics of “Watch me whip/Watch me Nae Nae” with, “watch me work/to learn my verb” and college-bound words such as “meticulous” and “elaborate.” Watch above.
