Back-to-Back Sebastian Bach Rants From 'That Metal Show'
All November, we’ve been raiding That Metal Show’s treasure trove of video clips, and today we’ve got a double dose of Skid Row frontmaniac Sebastian Bach sounding off on Season 7 with co-hosts Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine, and Don Jamieson.
First up, Sebastian Bach uses economics to explain his delayed first TMS appearance (“You gotta pay me!”), then reminisces with Eddie about reacting to the news of the 1996 Kiss reunion and suggests new Kiss characters the band should use instead of slapping the Space Man and Cat Man makeup on non-original players.
Secondly, Sebastian demonstrates how three words inked on his right forearm drive concert crowds into frenzies. Don Jamieson suggests what Eddie Trunk’s equivalent ink might be, and Jim Florentine gets Sebastian to reveal a larger-than-life loin story about the Down (there) Pantera that “freak of nature” Phil Anselmo is packing in his cut-off army pants.
As Thanksgiving looms, come back tomorrow when Black Sabbath guitar wizard Tony Iommi visits TMS to dispel a certain metal myth and talk turkey about the accident that mangled his finger—and figured crucially into the creation of heavy metal.
