AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Samples Motörhead Wine on 'That Metal Show'

Wine is definitely on our menu this Thanksgiving, so in the spirit of gratitude for the grape, today’s November plunder of That Metal Show’s video vault comes up with an intoxicating twosome featuring AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson.

During his Season 9 TMS visit, Brian joins co-hosts Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine, and Don Jamieson for a “Pick of the Week” segment featuring Motörhead Shiraz from the band’s signature line of libations.

Brian declares the vino to be unmistakably Motörhead in nature (“As subtle as a brick sh-thouse!”) and jokes about what secret ingredients Lemmy might have snuck into the formula.

In a second clip from the show, Brian Johnson discusses how he debuted with AC/DC while recording nothing less than the most popular hard rock album of all time, Back in Black. Rest assured, whiskey figured into the process.
