'TMS': Sammy Hagar + Michael Anthony Talk Van Halen + Aerosmith

As our November raid of That Metal Show’s video vaults heads into the home stretch, check out this pair of mighty moments from Season 11 featuring former Van Halen and sometimes Chickenfoot bandmates Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony.

In the first clip, Sammy sort of takes over from TMS co-hosts Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine, and Don Jamieson. The Red Rocker turns interviewer as he asks his bass-wailing buddy for the very first time about Michael's feelings regarding his end with Van Halen, the group he’d been with since the very beginning.

Michael says he took it in stride but he was hurt by one aspect of what Van Halen did to their official website the very day they announced that Wolfgang Van Halen would be taking over on bass. He also talks about what he thinks of Wolfie as a bass player.
