Former Disney Mouseketeer Marque 'Tate' Lynche Has Passed Away

The 34-year-old performed in the same class as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling.

Marque 'Tate' Lynche, a former Disney Mouseketeer for The Mickey Mouse Club and American Idol contestant, has died at the age of 34.

TMZ reports the performer was found dead in his New York City apartment on Dec. 3. His roommate discovered the body.

The Medical Examiner categorized Marque's death as suspicious. “There was no note, no pills,” said a police source, according to The New York Daily News. “We’re waiting on the medical examiner.”

In 2004, Marque competed in the third season of Idol, but was cut before the top 12. He also had two notable Broadway stints-- as Simba in The Lion King and Tyrone in Fame. But Marque is arguably best known for appearing alongside Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling in the 1993-1995 revival of The Mickey Mouse Club. Former castmates are taking to social media to express their grief.
