That Time When Republican President-Elect Donald Trump Was On Audrina Patridge's Reality Show

Get ready for the world's most awkward kiss.

Donald Trump is grabbing headlines left and right these days for political reasons, but if you'll indulge me in a #FlashbackFriday moment, I'd like us to look back at his finest role ever, that of mentor to one young Audrina Patridge. Trump appeared on Audrina's VH1 series, Audrina, back in 2011, perhaps the first time a presidential candidate has ever appeared on what was essentially a spinoff of The Hills. (Unless you count that time Carly Fiorina interned for Kelly Cutrone on Kell On Earth, jkjkjk).

In the clip, Audrina and her mom Lynn were smitten with The Donald, and he was taken enough with Audrina's intellect that he offered her a job on both The Apprentice and The Miss Universe Pageant on the spot. But what really hits the spot in this clip is the way Trump indulges Audrina's clearly ga-ga mother in a drawn-out goodbye kiss. Should this man ever earn the nomination for President, I truly hope this kiss is a deciding factor in the way America votes.

I'd also like to offer Audrina congratulations on the news of her pregnancy. Wishing you and Corey Bohan all the best.
