Meek Mill is having a string of bad luck. According to Page Six, the Philly rapper was supposed to travel in November to Hollywood, California for a potential role in 12 O’ Clock Boys, which is an upcoming remake by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment. Sadly, he had to miss the trip to LA because he had to take a urine test as part of violating his probation stemming from a 2008 drug and gun case.
He will also potentially miss a gig with Nicki Minaj in Las Vegas due to travel restrictions until his court case in early February. Meek is also a nominee for Best Original Song at the 2016 Oscars for “Fighting Stronger” that appeared in Creed. If he wins, there’s a chance he won’t make it either if he’s sentenced to jail time.
Hopefully he can get over this probation hump and get back on top of his game.
