Of Course Stacey Dash Thinks There Is Nothing Wrong with a White Man Playing Michael Jackson

Crazy lady strikes again...

Stacey Dash, A.K.A. Queen of F--ckery, is at it again.

The Clueless --in every sense of the word--actress is making headlines (again) for her aggressively misguided opinion about Joseph Fiennes, a white actor, playing Michael Jackson in an upcoming film. Dash, a staunch opponent of Black History Month and BET (???), took to her blog to say "BRAVO!"--literally--to the casting directors who made the progressive decision (again, ???) of choosing a white actor to play a black pop star. (If that sentence makes no sense to you, don't worry. We're scratching our heads, too.)

"I’m sick and tired of being told 'Sorry, Stacey, this is a Caucasian-only role.' Counterintuitively, this decision by Hollywood — which looks like a diss to blacks — is actually what we’ve been saying all along: roles should NOT be based on color," Dash wrote. Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. Dash actually thinks casting Fiennes to play Jackson is helping diversity, not hindering it. Did she pull a Dionne and get laced before writing this post?! Did a blabbering witch cast a spell on her beforehand?

She continues, "This decision throws that white-only card out the window. They can’t look at black actors and say, 'Sorry this role is Caucasian-only.' Roles should not be dictated by race. There’s no reason why the lead roles in Homeland, Veep, or Penny Dreadful have to be white (my favorite shows by the way). I want to see more of this diversity and thinking outside of the box with the equality that this designation entails – this is the right track."

Right track? Dash, it' time for a come-to-Jesus meeting. This is not diversity. This is white-washing--the exact issue Hollywood is trying to combat. The fact Dash can't tell the difference is--well--not that surprising at all, actually. As Gabrielle Union said (see below), she is just a crazy, crazy lady.
