Thanks to modern medicine, the miracle of life can happen in more ways than one, and gestational surrogacy has proven to be a great option for those hopeful parents who are unable to give birth to their own children.
Most recently, model-turned-reality mogul Tyra Banks surprised the world with her new bundle of joy, York Banks Asla, publicly thanking the "angel of a woman that carried [her] miracle baby" and doting on his tiny familiar features, like how he has her "fingers and big eyes" and boyfriend Erik Asla's "mouth and chin."

Banks added that she and Asla "worked and prayed so hard" for their little one and "pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone."
The America's Next Top Model star joins a rapidly growing group of celebs who've had a little help in the pregnancy process.
