Hail, Holy Queen! 'Sister Act' Set to Return

We the people demand Whoopi!

Let's just accept that they're rebooting and remaking everything we hold dear. Basically every VHS you ever owned is being redone.

The latest is Sister Act, the flaw-free 1992 classic about a lounge singer who hides out from her mobster at a convent. Of course she pretends to be a nun and saves the church by taking us all to church with her harmonies. Never forget that its sequel gave us Lauryn Hill.

Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith and Karen McCullah, whose credits include 10 Things I Hate About You and Legally Blonde, will write the new movie. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on whether Whoopi Goldberg will be involved. If not, what is even the point? We the people demand Whoopi, Maggie Smith, and this iconicness.

Shout out to the other former Catholic school choir kids who tried to do this rendition at Mass and were heavily refused by their teachers and priests.
