Sugar Island Coconut Rum Has Your Low-Cal Cocktail for the Weekend

The Piña Pequeña has the taste of the classic Piña Colada, with a third of the calories.

Sugar Island Rum is about to rock your summer. The Piña Pequeña cocktail has all of the coconut and pineapple-y goodness of a Piña Colada, which is usually about 600 calories, but with only 171 calories. The cocktail has orange marmalade and coconut water to replicate flavors of the Colada without the sticky, sugary mess. Get your drink and beach bod on at the same time? We think yes.

Here’s what you need and how to make it:

  • 1.5 parts Sugar Island Coconut Rum
  • 1 part fresh squeezed pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp Orange marmalade
  • 1 slice fresh pineapple
  • 1 part coconut water
  • Muddle pineapple, and add rest of ingredients, shake everything, and strain into a coupe glass. Top with a splash of soda and garnish with pineapple leaves.
