Singer John Legend branded Donald Trump a racist last night during a heated Twitter battle with his son Donald Trump Jr. It all started when Trump Jr. ridiculed protestors who shut down his fathers rally in Chicago earlier that day.
“Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn’t even answer,” Trump Jr., 38, wrote Friday evening. “The participation medal/micro aggression generation is pretty sad!”
Legend didn’t let the comment slide and quickly fired back on Twitter.
.@DonaldJTrumpJr I think they were protesting your racist father. This isn't complicated.

Trump Jr. brushed off the shade in his final response.
“Here we go again,” he wrote. “That can’t be the answer for everything you don’t like. That’s why the country is so divided now!”
However, Legend got the last word in replying to a follower who is also not one of Trump’s biggest fans.
.@DanielT03571138 @DonaldJTrumpJr the Donalds and I graduated from the same University, funny enough.

Then later on.
@DonaldJTrumpJr no. It's just the answer when racist racists are saying racist shit and are endorsed by the KKK.

Trump nor Trump Jr. have responded to John’s latest tweet.
