Black Ink Crew Rookie Naeem Sharif Says He and Puma Are Similar Because Both Are "Black Men in America Trying to Make It"

Meet Naeem Sharif, a 25-year-old tattoo artist from Detroit, Michigan and one of the Black Ink Crew's newest members. Naeem says that he has a lot in common with Puma, "We're both interested in art, we're both fathers, and we really want to prove something to people. We're black men in American trying to make it."

The self-proclaimed "light skinned tattoo artist" plays no games when it comes to his craft but is still able to let loose and have fun. "In an industry with so many tattoo artists, the only thing that can make me stand out is my work ethic. I have to continuously stay consistent and make sure nothing is slipping because if I slip, people see that s--t. I'm the right fit for Black Ink Crew because, I have a lot of energy, I have plenty of fun, and I can tattoo my a-- off." Can Naeem keep his business separate from all the drama that awaits?
