5 Parts of Your Body You Can Contour (Besides Your Face) That Will Fool Everyone

Why get a boob job when you can fake one?

You might not be able to instantly get rid of skin, fat or limbs, but you can change how they appear.

Such is the beauty of contouring, the makeup method made popular by Kim Kardashian that allows you to magically cast shadows on your face like some kind of spell. Contouring is often used on the cheekbones, nose and lips, but you can actually use it on other parts of your body, too. For example, you can go from flab to ab in a matter of 10 minutes, depending on how fast your fingers work.

As it turns out, you can contour your body head to toe. We've included five body parts—that aren't your face—you can contour as well as how-to videos below. Check 'em out.

Collarbone

Some women like to contour their breasts and collarbones at the same time, but if you're not in the mood to show cleavage, but you want to flirt with your collarbone, this is for you. Using a contour powder (or whatever contour product you already have) and a highlighter, you can contour your collarbones for maximum neck-flirting capabilities.

Breasts

Boob job? Ha! Why get a boob job when you can fake a boob job? There are a few different ways you can contour your breasts. The above video is one popular way to do the job, using various contour and highlight lines to give a more dramatic appearance for your cleavage. Harper's Bazaar offers a less dramatic contour-and-highlight guide here that involves less lines and less product.

Arms

Wearing a strapless dress? Not wearing a strapless dress, but want your arms to look hella toned? There's a contour for that. It's arm contouring and it's exactly what it sounds like. Peep the video above for a tutorial.

Abs

Yes, ladies (and gentlemen), you can contour your abs. Or flabs. Whatever you currently have in your midsection, you can contour the hell out of it to make it look more muscular than it is. The above video demonstrates just how you can go about this, though you should note the following: (1) Do not go swimming after contouring for obvious reasons and (2) you will need to flex a little bit while contouring in order to get the best results. Think of it as working out while you fake everyone out.

Legs

Perhaps the simplest of them all is leg contouring. Using a temporary bronzer and a highlighter, you just rub the bronzer on your leg and apply the highlighter along the tibia bone. Blend and BOOM. You're ready to fool everyone and anyone.
