You Need to Watch Melissa McCarthy Lip-Sync to DMX and 'Pocahontas' While Covered in Random Crap

Queen of the world.

Melissa McCarthy is arguably one of Hollywood's most universally-liked stars. She's warm, hilarious and gorgeous. Her films are gold, and she oozes a refreshing realness every time we see her. Long story short: She's regal.

And The Boss star asserted her queen status April 4 on The Tonight Show--not that she needed to!--via a little game called Lip Sync Battle. She and host Jimmy Fallon duked it out RuPaul's Drag Race-style, miming a series of popular songs with precision and flair.

Fallon was cute. He performed Melanie's "Brand New Key" and Zayn Malik's "Pillow Talk" with goofy aplomb (and an IRL pillow). But it was McCarthy's numbers that stole the show. And the Internet.

First, she slayed DMX's "X Gon' Give It to Ya," armed with a hat and gravity-defying dance moves.

Then, it happened. McCarthy closed with "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas, and it was the most magical thing in the history of things. Magical, and messy. Really messy. As she sang the Disney tune, McCarthy was literally doused in leaves, glitter, water, flowers and other random sh-t. A true blue (and red and orange and yellow) show-woman.

Watch it go down in the video above, and be transformed.
