The Game Remembers Prince with Tribute Song, "Rest in Purple"

"Prince was such a huge inspiration to my life from a child watching </I>Purple Rain</I> til the time I met him."

As the world collectively mourns the loss of music legend Prince, The Game has released his own tribute to the icon. "Rest In Purple" reflects on Prince's career, making references to specific songs in his catalogue, as well as other gone-too-soon artists like Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. "Rest In Purple" also features Lorine Chia.

The Game wrote,

Prince was such a huge inspiration to my life from a child watching Purple Rain til the time I met him at Universal Music in 2006. I was a fan then and I am a fan now! His death was untimely and tragic. I'm sure the world is saddened, as I was when I woke up to the news today. Long story short, @bongobytheway hit me and told me stop by the studio and record a small tribute to him and his legacy and once I heard the beat, I hit @LorineChia to do the hook. [I] hope you appreciate it.

A classy move by Jayceon. What do you think of "Rest In Purple"?
