'Game of Thrones'' Kit Harington Spoiled Jon Snow's Fate to Get Out of a Speeding Ticket

What would you've done in this situation?

We've all done our fair share to get out of a ticket, and Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is no different. On the Tonight with Jimmy Fallon Friday night, the GoT star revealed he avoided a speeding ticket by telling a police officer his character’s fate in season six.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead!

"I was driving back from my parent's house, and I was driving too fast. I was being a bit naughty," he said. "I was going over the speed limit, and I feel the sirens go off behind me, this policeman comes up, pulls me over and I, a bit sheepishly, say ‘I’m really sorry, I wasn’t looking at the clock’ and he said: ‘Do you realize how fast you were going? That’s a bookable offense.'" According to Kit, the office continued, "Look, there's two ways we can do this: You can either follow me back to the police station now and I book you in, or you can tell me whether you live on the next series of Games of Thrones.'"

At first Harington jokingly laughed it off, but the officer was serious. "Whether I take you into the police station depends on what your answer is," the cop said.

Without a doubt, the GOT star gave in and spoiled this season's huge surprise. "I looked at him and said, 'I’m alive next season.'"

The officer, delighted, brilliantly responded with, "On your way, Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the wall.”

How epic is that? That cop deserves a raise, even though, by the book, he did the wrong thing.
