Watch Demi Lovato Shade Nick Jonas' Purity Ring During "Carpool Karaoke" with James Corden

We've seen some brilliant "Carpool Karaoke" episodes with James Corden on The Late Late Show. There was the time Julia Roberts and George Clooney crashed Gwen Stefani's ride. Plus, who can forget when Corden texted Leonardo DiCaprio from Jennifer Lopez's phone--and DiCaprio actually thought it was J.Lo? These are all iconic, but nothing quite compares to the most recent installment in the series, starring queen Demi Lovato and panty-melting bae Nick Jonas.

Why is it so great, you ask? The tea and (fun-loving) shade Lovato directed toward her tour-mate. Not even two minutes in, and Lovato can't help but tease Jonas for playing girlfriend ping-pong with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez in the late 2000s. "[He dated] Miley...and then back to Selena," Lovato jested. "And then back with Miley!...Cyrus, Gomez, Cyrus, Gomez--and then I don't know what else happened." Jonas played the denial game during this, but Lovato didn't back down. "Lies! Liza Minnelli back there," Lovato said. It's the kind of bickering only true BFFs can do.

But the best part happens around the 3:33 mark. Jonas recounted a hilarious story about a fan jumping in the back of a car during the Jonas Brothers years and hiding with their luggage. "Do you think they went through your bags?" Corden asked.

And that's when Lovato delivered the greatest shade of all time. "Maybe they found your purity rings," Lovato said with a toothy grin. Queen! (If you recall the JoBros famously sported the rings around 2008 to signify their celibacy.)

Watch the entire car ride in the clip above. It's chock-full of amazing moments, like Jonas recalling when he was tied up at a gay club--"They literally chained me to the wall," he said--and the trio performing on the street for petty cash. It's a magical 13 minutes.
