Laverne Cox Is a Mesmerizing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in This 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' Trailer

We've been freaking out about the Rocky Horror Picture Show TV remake ever since Fox announced it was happening in April 2015. Now, we finally have a taste of what we're in store for. And it looks amazing.

Fox dropped a 30-second teaser of the film, which is slated for a Halloween 2016 release, on Monday (May 16). It features Laverne Cox in full-on Dr. Frank-N-Furter glam, British accent and all. She looks bomb, and from the few kitschy lines we hear in this trailer, it seems like she nails the part.

Ryan McCartan and Victoria Justice play the film's heroes Janet and Brad, while Reeve Carney steps into Riff Raff's creepy shoes. Other cast members include Christina Milian (Magenta), Adam Lambert (Eddie) and the OG Frank-N-Furter Tim Curry as the Criminologist.

Nothing will top the original, but this Kenny Ortega-directed romp seems fun and true to the 1975 film's campy charm. See for yourself in the trailer above.
