Beyoncé Scores CFDA Fashion Icon Award, Blue Ivy Shames the Paparazzi

Just a typical Carter family outing.

Imagine you're four years old. Your mom is winning a major fashion award and your dad is escorting you to the event. Everyone wants to take your picture, you want to go home and play, so you do what any self-respecting child would do in this scenario: Wag your finger at the paparazzi and tell them what the hell time it is.

Watermelon lady and songstress supreme Beyoncé was the recipient of the 2016 Fashion Icon Award at last night's CFDAs. Donning a Givenchy suit reminiscent of something Michael Jackson once wore and a black "Formation"-esque hat, Bey accepted her award, presented to her by Diane von Furstenberg.

Our Queen proceeded to give a poignant acceptance speech, in which she talked about her family's fashion roots and made an epic (and totally geeky) Game of Thrones reference. You can (and should) watch her full speech here, but if you're not ready to cry today, yet, watch this instead.

That, Beyloveds, is Blue Ivy shaking her finger at everyone trying to snap a photo of her. The word is that the Carters entered a side entrance after the red carpet had closed, which makes the paparazzi seem even more rabid in the above video. Either Blue has been spending plenty of time with paparazzi slayer North West or she's really just over it all. (Or maybe she was sending a hidden message to Becky With the Good Hair prospect Rachel Roy, who was also present at the awards show last night. #LemonadeConspiracyTheories)

Case in point: Blue doesn't give a flying you know what these days because her mom is literally Beyoncé and she slays all day. Oh, to be a Carter in 2016...

We tried on Beyoncé's Ivy Park collection when it dropped in April. Check out our haul video here.
