The Awful 'Playboy' Playmate Who Snapchatted a Naked Woman Without Her Consent Loses Her Job
Karma is a funny thing.
Dani Mathers, the Playboy Playmate who body-shamed a naked woman via Snapchat, just got fired from one of her jobs.
TMZ reports Mathers got the boot from her longstanding gig at Heidi and Frank, a radio show on Los Angeles' KLOS station. According to TMZ, KLOS announced Mathers is suspended "indefinitely" from her post in light of her despicable Snapchat activity.
And there's more bad news for her. The gym where Mathers took the invasive photo, LA Fitness, announced she is banned from using any of its locations ever again. I can't say I'm heartbroken.
If you're unfamiliar with what happened, Mathers--who was 2015's Playmate of the Year--snapped a photo of an unsuspecting woman showering, wrote a body-shaming caption and uploaded it to her Snapchat story. "If I can't unsee this then you can't either," Mathers wrote. Disgusting.
Mathers apologized for the photo, dubbing it an "accident." "That was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do," Mathers said. "Body-shaming is wrong, and that's not what I'm about." She then said the photo was intended for a "personal" conversation with a friend, as if that makes it OK.
Thank you, Mathers, for making anyone who doesn't look like you terrified of going to the gym. It's not transgender people who we need to fear in bathrooms. It's you.
Playboy editors, we're waiting for your response.
