First Lady Michelle Obama Had the Best "Carpool Karaoke" with James Corden in History

She can jam.

Michelle Obama is the coolest First Lady in the history of the White House. This is a widely-accepted fact. However, any naysayers need to look no further than her "Carpool Karaoke" session with James Corden that aired on The Late Late Show Wednesday night (July 20). (Yes, the First Lady did "Carpool Karaoke." And it was glorious.)

This special edition "Carpool Karaoke" took place on the White House grounds, and Obama and Corden talked about everything from White House code names to eating grilled cheese sandwiches at 3 a.m. (Apparently, the White House dining staff offers 24-hour room service, something Obama says she is cool with leaving behind.)

"That's nice, but the freedom that we'll get in exchange for the privileges and the luxuries--[after] seven-and-a-half years, that's enough luxuriating. I can make my own grilled cheese sandwich," she said. (We can't.)

And Lady Obama can jam! Her and Corden rocked out to everything from Stevie Wonder to Beyoncé on their excursion, and they were even joined by a special rapper guest to rock to one of her songs. (Hint: It was VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens honoree.)
