Ed was having an extra-ordinary day, grazing the aisles of a Canadian mall's music store like any of us plebeians would, when he heard someone singing "Thinking Out Loud." That someone was a 13-year-old girl named Sydney Bourbeau, who was using her pipes to raise money for the local Humane Society, according to Huffington Post. Ed's reaction to hearing Sydney sing his song was to waltz over to the stage — extra casual — and join her for a duet of the song.
