Miley Cyrus Shades Mariah Carey in New Interview
"I've never really been a fan."
You can never say that Miley Cyrus doesn't speak her mind.
In the October issue of Elle, she has some not-so-kind words for Mariah Carey in the magazine's cover story. "I've never really been a fan, because it's so much about Mariah Carey," she said. "That's part of her shtick."
The 23-year old Voice coach also said that Carey is a "gay icon" is because the five-time Grammy winner is so focused on herself. "It's about Mimi!" she said. "It's about what she's wearing, and it's about her."
For Cyrus, her art is about "someone being connected to what I'm saying."
Hmmm. We'll be waiting patiently for Mariah's response.
