New details in the Kim Kardashian robbery reveal the ordeal was a way more horrifying experience for the reality TV star than first reported. An exclusive US Weekly report of the crime details how the robbers tied the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and made off with $10 million dollars in jewelry.
A Parisian law enforcement official confirmed to Us that there were actually five assailants that took part in the robbery. Initial reports stated that two men dressed as police officers were responsible for the crime, but investigators believe the crime was a well-planned attack orchestrated by an experienced gang of thieves.
The incident happened at around 2:25 a.m. when the robbers rushed into the luxury apartment owned by Kardashian’s husband Kanye West. A male concierge was handcuffed, and shoved into a closet before the criminals attacked Kardashian in another area of the apartment. They gagged, tied up and locked the reality star in a bathroom. She reportedly begged for her life during the break-in. Kardashian had just finished Facetiming with her brother Rob Kardashian before the crooks raided the apartment.
The robbers took off with millions in jewelry from Kardashian’s personal collection and two cell phones. Members of the Kardashian family were at Kim’s side soon after the nightmare experience. Sisters Kendell Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner were all in town for Paris Fashion Week. Kim reportedly flew out of Paris on private jet early Monday morning.
Kim Kardashian was the victim of a scary armed robbery inside her Paris hotel room on Sunday evening. Reps for the reality star confirmed multiple reports that two men posing as police officers held her at gunpoint.
According to early reports, Kardashian was left badly shaken but unharmed during the encounter. She was in Paris attending events for Paris Fashion Week. This is the second time during her visit Kardashian’s safety was compromised. Earlier in the week, celebrity prankster Vitalii Sediuk ambushed Kardashian in an attempt to kiss her butt. Sediuk pulled a similarly horrible stunt on model Gigi Hadid a week prior in Milan.
As news broke of the robbery, Kanye West was forced to abruptly cancel his show in New York. The rapper apologized to the audience as he walked off stage during his performance at Meadows Festival in Queens, NY. He told them that he had to attend to a “family emergency.”
