'Empire' Cast Pledge Their Support For Hillary Clinton in New Ad
By Jasmine Washington
The cast and co-creator of FOX's hit series Empire recently endorsed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in a new ad.
Director and co-creator Lee Daniels was joined by Taraji P Henson, Bryshere Gray, Jussie Smollet, Trai Byers, Grace Byers and Gabourey Sidibe in support of the Democratic nominee.
Crediting Hillary Clinton's position on gun control, health care, women's rights and the fact that she was the "only one person in this race who said Black Lives Matter," the Empire stars revealed that they'd all be voting for her in the upcoming election.
Daniels, who also directed the ad, encouraged viewers to uphold the legacy of our ancestors by actively participating in this election. "So many women and men died for us to have the right to vote. Every time we sit out, we dishonor their sacrifices," he explained.
We had liberals blind-taste test some of Trump's best wine. The results will surprise you.
