Kristen Johnston and Norm Lewis Join the Already Impressive Cast of VH1's 'Daytime Divas'

The cast keeps getting better.

VH1 just announced that two-time Emmy Award-winning actress, Kristen Johnston and acclaimed Broadway and film actorNorm Lewis will join the network’s upcoming scripted series Daytime Divas. Both stars will have recurring roles in the series, which chronicles the daily fireworks that erupt between five female co-hosts of a fictional talk show The Lunch Hour. On screen, they are best friends with five very different points of view, but behind the scenes, they inhabit a world of power struggles, cat fights and cocktails. The main cast features a talented roster of Hollywood's finest leading ladies, Vanessa Williams as Maxine, Tichina Arnold as Mo, Chloe Bridges as Kibby, Camille Guaty as Nina, and Fiona Gubelmann as Heather.

Johnston signs on to play Anna, the former frumpy and frazzled assistant to Maxine. Her character returns to New York transformed into a chic and hard-hitting journalist.

Lewis will play William, a handsome doorman who may hold one of the ladies’ darkest secrets.

The series will also feature a star-studded list of guest stars that includes Patti LaBelle, Eve, Kelly Osbourne, Tasha Smith, La La Anthony, Debby Ryan, Janet Mock, Rob Estes and Scott Evans.

It's time to start making room on your DVR, because Daytime Divas is slated to premiere in 2017.
