Donald Trump Responds to Kanye West in the Most Trump Way

"To Kanye West, I love him."

Everyone seems to want the old Kanye back besides one person, Donald Trump. Early Friday (11/18), Kanye West infuriated the Internet after revealing he would've voted for Trump, had he voted. Well Trump caught wind of Ye's rant and responded in typical Trump fashion.

"I'll never say bad about him," Trump on Kanye during a rally. "You want to know why? Because he loves Trump. He goes around saying Trump is my all-time hero." I thought it was Steve Jobs and Walt Disney, no?

"So to Kanye West, I love him. In a few years I might have to run against him, so I'll take that back," Trump jokingly adds. "But he's been so nice to me. You people saw the scene. I've been a counterpuncher. I only hit people when they hit me. Kanye West has been so great. I would never say bad about him because he says such nice things about me."

So Donald loves Kanye not for his personality, views, or artistic impact on music, fashion, and culture, but for him saying something nice about Donald? If Ye says something negative about the president-elect, does that relationship go out the window? Is the only way for Trump to like you is if you say nice things about him? Sounds fishy.
